What I’d most like is more money made available to build affordable homes, especially at social rent levels. We have far too few. The Government’s cut the money by half over the last 10 years. We still have 10,000 people on the housing waiting list here.

Merton is becoming unaffordable to many people, even in the Mitcham area, where prices are much lower than Wimbledon. So building homes has to be one of my key drivers.
