From a young age I always wanted to get involved in politics, and I always wanted to be leader of Havering Council.

For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to be leader of Havering Council, because I love Havering. I love our communities.

My local councilor was incredibly active with politics. He used to deliver a monthly newsletter, he used to knock on the door all the time. I suppose it was him that really inspired me to join the Conservatives.
